Looking to expand my expertise in economic research or business intelligence, with a focus on utilizing advanced analytics and data-driven strategies to deliver impactful solutions.Currently interning with the Business Intelligence team at 80 Acres Farms, where I build and optimize Power BI reports, run my own ETL processes, and enhance SQL queries to streamline data pipelines and deliver actionable insights.Over the summer, I interned at Motor Services Hugo Stamp (MSHS), where I got my first exposure to Power BI and its functionalities, and witnessed the launch of a new ERP system. During my time there, I built automated systems and reports within Power BI that are still actively used within the company.On campus, I serve as the VP of Pledge Education for our chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional fraternity. In this role, I create a supportive learning environment, guiding new pledges through the customs and culture of the fraternity. I also lead professional development activities, helping underclassmen gain a competitive edge in their professional journeys.As a Downing Scholar, I assist Dr. Jarrod Humphrey, a Management professor, with research on top managers during the .com bubble and the impact of their entrepreneurial efforts on their careers. My role includes scraping the SEC's website and S1 filings to build a dataset of over 1,400 manager bios. I am currently conducting text analysis in R to identify key characteristics of these managers and will explore their future career outcomes through LinkedIn data.Outside of campus and work, I am building a dashboard and data collection site for a dog training company. This data will be used to generate Power BI reports, a pricing model, and financial statements. I oversee the data cleaning and control processes, enabling this small business to gain actionable insights even from preliminary data.
