I remember even as a young kid I was always trying to look for ways to make money to save up for a dirt bike much to my parents disapproval of such a purchase. I would do all the chores I possibly could to earn a few dollars on the weekend all contributing to that one massive purchase I always desired. My work experience started very early knocking on peoples doors in the neighbourhood asking to mow their lawns for cash and family friends who needed their car washed for the weekend. As soon as I was able to get employed at fifteen I applied for a job at Woolworths and scored the position as an in store retail assistant which was where I finally bought my first ever beloved dirt bike. I have been a loyal employee working at Woolworths through high school and currently working there as a University Student. I was a casual as an in store retail assistant , but became a part time employee in 2021 as a trolley boy. I then switched positions from a trolley boy after 12 months and went back into the store and became a part time online team member. Throughout my 7 year stretch at Woolworths I have been trained in almost all of the departments being trained in groceries, deli, online, front end and fresh convenience. With this work experience I developed great problem solving skills, communication skills, teamwork skills and adapting with new technology skills which can be transferred into any professional work setting.I play sports as a hobby and I am currently playing at Coomera Magpies AFC and am a life member. I have been playing at Coomera Magpies for 14 years and volunteer on weekends to help with either raffle tickets, canteen, water, umpiring or coaching. I have made close friendships over the years and my social, communication and teamwork skills have benefited greatly from playing a team sport for almost my entire life. I have been going to the gym regularly now for about 5 years and have absorb lots of knowledge about human health mentally and physically. Gym is very beneficial for my physical and mental health and this is very important not just to me, but also organisations are now very concerned about this topic in recent years. Being at the gym has made me realise that if you are prepared to work and people start seeing your progress you will be respected. I bring this kind of attitude to the workplace which is put my head down and get to work as I enjoy the journey just as much as the outcome.
