I have experience with all aspects of a machine shop from ordering material, scheduling jobs, inspection, calibration, ordering tooling, purchasing machines. I also have 20+ years of programming, set up, and running precision parts on various types of cnc lathes to close tolerances. The lathe work I have done ranges in size from 1/8" up to 30" sometimes using steady rests and tailstock. I also know how to maintain and repair most machines. I am also very fluent with G code programs. I have spent the last 15 years writing all my own g code programs using an assortment of canned cycles, or just writing line by line.
