My role as an Account Manager is to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that help my clients reach their business goals. This includes publicity, copywriting, issues management, marketing campaigns, and stakeholder communications. By leveraging my personal contacts and pitching for projects, I’ve helped secure the agency hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of new business. My clients past and present include the City of Adelaide, Australian Gas Infrastructure Group, Rundle Mall, Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), Goodstart Early Learning, University of Adelaide, South Australian Museum, COTA SA, Life Care and Holiday Inn Express.

Holiday Explorers is a not-for-profit South Australian organisation providing social inclusion and skill development opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities, so they can enjoy enriching experiences and stay connected with their communities.

The University of Adelaide's Media Advisory Board consists of a diverse range of media, marketing and communication professionals. I was invited by the University to provide advice, support and assistance for the development of the curriculum for the Bachelor of Media and associated courses and programs. I also provide insight into employer needs and trends and assist in strengthening links to industry.

I was responsible for recruiting state councillors and the strategic planning of events, initiatives and programs that help advance the profession in South Australia and also served as Board member for the organisation nationally. In 2021, I development and launched the peak body's first-ever South Australian mentoring program, recruiting 20 of the industry's leading communications professionals through my personal network to each mentor one of 20 students from the University of South Australia, Flinders University, and the University of Adelaide.

Corporate Conversation is an Adelaide-based media relations and corporate communications firm. My role was to provide media liaison, communication and issues management support, as well as social and digital media advice. Clients included NAB, Stockland, Thomas Foods International, Australian Outdoor Living, Terri Scheer Insurance, Adelaide Cemeteries Authority, Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland, the Australian Science and Mathematics School, Workskil Australia and the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy.

Dan Murphy's Munno Para, owned by Woolworths Limited, is one of South Australia's biggest and busiest liquor stores. My role as Duty Manager included overseeing day-to-day operations and business finances, and managing a team of more than 20 employees.

My responsibilities as a sub-contractor included managing social media campaigns, SEO / website auditing and reporting, analysing data to create SEO & Google AdWords reports, building and refining Google AdWords campaigns, creating social media advertisements, and content marketing / blogger outreach.

Deventer PR and Communications was an award-winning public relations company. During my three-month contract role, I assisted with generating and delivering media coverage for numerous clients including Westpac, Harbour Town Adelaide, SipnSave, SeaLink, and Campbelltown City Council. I also helped to run social media campaigns and prepare tourism award submissions.

The Botanic Gardens of South Australia provide visitors with a range of cultural, recreational, educational and scientific facilities. Over 1.8 million people visit these gardens each year including approximately 25,000 school students. My contract role as a communications consultant was to publish the Adelaide Botanic Gardens Foundation newsletter. This included conducting interviews, writing editorial, editing and formatting, liaison with a graphic designer and publisher, and updating the website.
