WebAssembly on the Chrome TeamManaged a team of 4 developing new WebAssembly Standards. We would design new standards and help move them through the standardization process, including writing the specification document, implementing them in the ocaml-based reference interpreter, responding to community feedback, implementing the new features in various tools and in the multiple V8 WebAssembly compilers.Some WebAssembly standards that were worked on during this time:* Bulk Memory* Memory 64* SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data)* GC (Garbage Collection)* Reference Types

JavaScript and WebAssembly on the Chrome teamFrom 2018-2020, I was chair of the WebAssembly Community Group. I managed virtual and in-person meetings and helped move the standard forward. During my time as chair, WebAssembly became a Recommended W3C specification and we added five new proposals (three of which I championed). See https://github.com/WebAssembly/proposals/blob/master/finished-proposals.mdFrom 2015-2020, I created and maintained the WebAssembly Binary Toolkit (wabt) project, which continues to be an important tool for WebAssembly developers. See https://github.com/webassembly/wabtI provided the first implementation of the SharedArrayBuffer and Atomics APIs for Chrome, working directly with the TC39 proposal champion, Lars Hansen. I then helped develop the similar WebAssembly threading proposal.
