Chef/Ranch HandChesleigh Homestead, Sofala, Nsw, Australia Feb 1989 - Mar 1989Worked briefly at this amazing 3,000 acre wilderness guest ranch in the Australian outback. Served as a chef for a small crew and for groups of guests on weekends. Also performed general duties around the property. Was fortunate enough to lead the intermediate horseback ride for guests which culminated in downtown Sofala (population 73, at least when I was there) for a couple of pints at the local pub.Spent 6 months travelling all over Australia, but the time I spent at Chesleigh was up at the top of the list of good times.
