A self-motivated and experienced engineering consultant possessing a wide variety of project experience gained through work on complex projects in both Australia and the UK.I began my career as a chemical engineer in explosives manufacture, processing and Fill, Assembly and Pack. This instilled in me a preoccupation for system safety, risk management and assurance that I have applied and further developed throughout my career.As an engineering consultant with Frazer-Nash Consultancy, I have had the benefit of working with a wide variety of clients across Defence (land, maritime, air, explosive ordnance) as well as civil (maritime, MHF, rail, electrical power & distribution).I appreciate the value in applying systems thinking and systematic approaches to solving complex problems.
