Hi, my name is Ben and I am a Graduate Animation student from Leeds currently living in Cockermouth, Cumbria.Personally, I want to specialize in character animation, more recently I've been focusing on 3D but still have a passion for traditional 2D and am very interested in the current growth of mixed media films in the industry. I think overall I have a strong understanding of the 12 principles and enjoy the process of in-betweening to see the final movements of a character come together.Originally I could be quite shy when meeting new people, but since University I feel that my confidence has grown a lot and once, I get to know people I think I can work well with almost anyone.Currently, an important part of my studies is to grow and improve my overall drawing skills so that I can focus more on things like timing and solid drawing. I think that right now the best thing for me to progress as an animator will be to see more of what it is like to work in the industry whether that be through talking to more people who work in animation or taking advantage of internship opportunities.
