Collects and keeps track of machine data, efficiencies, downtime and quality. Uses data for continuous improvement. Produces standard work for machines: loading instructions, change overs, tool changes/offsets and troubleshooting alarms. Develops training plan for new employees and tracks progress. Leader of HPT (high performance teams) where ideas and solutions are given by hourly employees for continuous improvement. Leader of Kaizens (data driven large scale continuous improvement). Schedules maintenance so disruption in production does not occur. Audits 5s , quality, safety, preventative maintenance, data entry and processes/procedures. In charge of employee hours and schedules as well as time cards, vacation allotment and other time off requests.
