Assessment Officer
Current• Assessing and providing feedback on Semi Independent Providers (SIP) policies and procedures ensuring they meet Kent County Council Standards.• Contacting SIP providers for updates regarding their Ofsted registration status and assisting with letters of support to Ofsted.• Logging and reporting to senior management any unlawful SIP placements made across the United Kingdom.• Undertaking Quality Assurance visits for SIP properties.• Logging and being a part of the decision process regarding potential sanctions on SIP providers and liaising with local authority designated officers regarding inspections/investigations on the provider.• Provided reporting and data analysis for commissioners when Invitation to Tender was advertised regarding a reception center for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)• Provider emergency bed reporting and spreadsheet creations for UASC• Log, file, and report to senior management regarding incidents within four unregulated providers numerous accommodations daily and providing a monthly report.• Report writing after expression of interest procedure for the Accommodation and Support Pathway using The Kent Business Portal and Contact Management System.• Log, file, and report to senior management regarding police checks undertaken on any potential new properties the provider is interested in.• Monitoring my own inbox as well as the team’s three other joint inboxes.• Creation of new spreadsheets and keeping systems and filing up to date to make my own and my team’s job more streamlined.
