My Current work experience is predominantly in the building and construction sector with jobs as a general laborer and Tradeyard/desk assistant. I am currently enrolled at Deakin university completing a degree in Exercise and sports science and am aspiring to move into this field of employment.   In my role as a trade yard and desk employee at Mitre 10 i utilise a variety of skills on a daily basis. Everyday I implement communication and problem-solving skill to help customers and develop strong relationships. My skill of Critical thinking is also used to identify the most effective ways to tackle physical labour based tasks and sales and customer help tasks alike. Working predominantly in the trade section of the business, I am consistently drawing upon, and expanding my knowledge of materials and products that we provide. This is so i am able to suggest the best and most up to date products to offer customers upon request. Handling quotes, orders and the trade desk register, I am responsible for the movement of thousands of dollars worth of currency in each and every shift.
