Lead First Line of Defense Risk Management for the Consumer Bank inclusive of Retail Banking, Mortgage, Unsecured Lending, Small Business, Payments, Deposits and Consumer Bank support activities in a matrixed operating environment. Responsible for the pro-active execution of the Risk Management Framework within the Consumer Bank.

Senior business executive responsible for risk and control management across Consumer, Small and Business Banking (CSBB). First Line of Defense across multiple consumer and small business products and channels, and including data governance, marketing execution and strategic initiative functions and activities across CSBB, Consumer Lending and Wealth Management segments.

Led risk management and oversight for enterprise-wide fraud-related processes and controls across all lines of business. Fraud modeling oversight, regulatory adherence, fraud investigation completeness and timeliness. Worked within financial crimes compliance to align data, analytics, and models to detect and mitigate risks.

Led second line of defense team with global responsibility for operational risk management and compliance to technology-related regulatory requirements across technology and front line unit business activities and processes. Areas of focus include risk management for application development and management, change management, business continuity and resiliency, data, governance and privacy, information security, technology incident management, and technology infrastructure. Integrated legacy compliance and operational risk organizations into a single function and program which includes independent testing, monitoring, assessment, challenge and issue identification, governance, reporting, training, regulatory change management, operational loss analysis, and regulator interaction inclusive of exams and remediation efforts.

Leadership responsibilities included compliance oversight of Deposit and Payment products across Consumer and Small Business lines of business. Additionally, led second-line oversight and various remediation efforts across all Bank of America business units and control functions in areas of FDPA/Flood Insurance, FCRA/Fair Credit Reporting Act, SCRA/Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, Third Party management, Bankruptcy, Deceased and other requirements.

Led largest U.S. Debit program and P&L representing over 30 million cardholders, $267 Billion purchase volume and 6.7 Billion POS transactions per year. Led the Bank's Debit EMV strategy and influenced industry stakeholders toward rapid adoption in a post-Dodd-Frank environment. Improved customer experience performance through a 40+% reduction in problem incidences during tenure. Additionally responsible for payment relationship deepening strategies, check product fulfillment and vendor management, and ownership for the Bank’s position in the consumer general purpose reloadable prepaid market. Led establishment of end-to-end process oversight, analysis and improvement of deposit account closure practices.

Selected by leadership to lead Bank’s initial Customer Segments Finance organization with scope across all retail banking deposit and lending products and channels. Led transition of the Bank’s transformation from product-centric financial reporting to customer-level measurement and FP&A functions that cut across business lines, serving as the basis to set differentiated customer strategies and measure execution outcomes.

Senior Finance Business Partner to Chief Technology Officer of Consumer Bank. Responsibility for managing and improving the efficiency of $2.5B technology expense across Consumer and Global Corporate Staff Units. Treasurer of Bank's offshore subsidiary.

Led financial integration of several acquisitions for the GHR division.
