I worked as a systems engineer for corporate technologies in Grand Rapids Michigan. I did various work including but not limited to: Server migration/repair/troubleshooting, cisco device setup and configuration, e-mail and mail-max troubleshooting, virus removal, general hardware/software issues, PC deployment, infrastructure maintenance, corporate anti-virus deployment, operating system upgrades, remote server and client troubleshooting, blackberry enterprise server setup, deployment and maintenance, classroom setup for student training pc's, Wireless and wired network troubleshooting, and any other various IT work including selling clients equipment. I traveled between Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Kalamazoo, Lansing and Holland.

For the first six months of my time at Steelcase, I worked on their help desk. I provided support to their global users via phone, email, and remote desktop connections. My work varied from new blackberry setup or troubleshooting, VPN connectivity issues, wireless and wired LAN issues, viruses, printer support, and anything else that was hardware or software related. The last six months I changed roles into being the direct support for the executives and their executive assistants within the Steelcase corporation. I was their primary contact and would go on-site to assist them in their day to day IT issues.
