My research primarily specializes in the transport and effects of aquatic pollutants. I have received a minor in computer science, Bachelor of science in environmental science, Master of science in environmental and urban geosciences, and a PhD in engineering. This enabled me to develop a wide array of skills within the environmental science, ecotoxicology, geographic information systems (GIS), and civil engineering fields. I have multiple publications in Q1 journals that primarily focus on the fate microplastics in a variety of flow domains and I am a associate fellow for teaching in higher education. I was also an Academic All-American and a NCAA division 1 scholarship athlete (Tennis) over six years at UMKC and Drake University.
