I originate from a small farming community in North Central Iowa which has allowed me to be involved in agriculture for most of my life. I was drawn to agriculture at first by helping my relatives at a young age. These tasks included: working on machinery, fieldwork, helping with harvest, bailing hay, and working with cattle. In High School and College I worked part time for a local farmer performing many tasks that are associated with a livestock farming operation. While at SDSU I was able to intern with Cargill Ag Horizons in Hutchinson, Kansas as a production supervisor. Also during my time at school I took many technology courses, which included a GPS class, and Power Machinery courses.I currently work for AGCO Corporation a Duluth, GA based agricultural machinery company. I hold the position of Director, Product Management, Global Crop Care with areas of foucs in Technology, Seeding and Tillage. This includes working with internal teams to drive the definition of global roadmaps for Seeding and Tillage as well as working with the AGCO ATS team to define and integrate electronics and precision farming technology including the management external partners and vendors.
