Worked within the marketing department to increase destination awareness. Primary website administrator and organizations primary contact for CRM, CMS management. Developed advertising campaigns for the leisure and meetings markets, and led the collaborative process with Oakland's craft beer community on the creation of the Oakland Ale Trail.

I ensure the continuity and relevance of the overall marketing message for Visit Loudoun. This includes developing digital and print marketing, as well as managing projects and campaigns. I manage the Visit Loudoun website and blog, as well as serve as the day-to-day contact with creative agencies and local tourism owners and operators on their marketing needs.

Skills gained: Government consulting, Strategic planning, Meeting facilitation • Selected to create terrorism scenarios for the DHS Office of Infrastructure Protection's most high profile exercises. Duties included research and writing of the scenario, facilitating scenario working group meetings with senior public and private sector officials.• Manager of the team video contract that results in 38 videos produced a year. Management duties included schedule creation, script writing, and overseeing production activities. The videos are utilized by thousands of Critical Infrastructure stakeholders each year in order to enhance their resiliency efforts.

Skills gained: Logistics, Procurement, Coordination with NGOs and Federal Interagency • Planned a 50-mile, 3-day trek along Appalachian Trail. Planning involved coordination with military, state and Federal government agencies, as well as briefings to senior military officials. • Analyzed battalion’s budget of $1.25 million, and reviewed/authorized all Battalion purchases.• Restructured the Company supply system, resulting in zero property accountability losses after previous regime left with 1.6 million in losses.

Skills gained: Leadership, Personnel management, Overcoming high stress situations• Led 27 Soldier Platoon for 11 months during a combat tour in the Rashid District of Baghdad, Iraq. Patrols included engagement with local neighborhood leaders, and businessmen, as well as Iraqi Police and Iraqi Army officers.• Developed and instructed a counter-IED detection course for Iraqi Police. The course led to the creation of the country’s first All-Iraqi Route Clearance Team.
