I'm a software engineer based in the UK, currently working in an innovation team at the BBC. I have been working in tech companies since completion of a degree in Mathematics and Computing in 2011.My work at the BBC has been focused on flexible media, internal tooling and automation within news and broadcasting.I have been using Python as my main programming language for over ten years and have been involved in the Python community for most of that time. In 2018 I was awarded the John Pinner Award for voluntary services to the UK Python community. I also maintain a number of open source Python projects.
