Ben Terry is a Senior Vice President / Director of Portfolio Leasing for Weitzman. As part of Weitzman’s team , Terry will be responsible for overseeing the brokerage team focused on part of Weitzman’s Joint Venture (JV) property portfolio in the DFW market. Prior to joining Weitzman, Terry was a Director of Real Estate for Kimco Realty Corporation. As part of Kimco’s team, Terry oversaw part of Kimco’s west coast portfolio across Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Inland Empire.Prior to joining Kimco Realty Corporation, Mr. Terry was a Vice President at Coreland Companies and has represented property owners in the leasing and sale of retail shopping centers. He has completed transactions with national, regional and local tenants in excess of $250 million in lease consideration. For five years Terry has been honored with CoStar Group’s “Power Broker” Award as one of Orange County’s Top Retail Leasing Brokers. Prior to joining Coreland Companies in 2009, Mr. Terry served as a Leasing Director with Red Mountain Retail Group, one of the largest retail property companies in the Southwest. While with Red Mountain, Terry managed a two million square foot retail portfolio located throughout California.Mr. Terry graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a dual emphasis in both Real Estate and Corporate Finance. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and serves as President of the Association of Commercial Real Estate Executives (ACRE). Mr. Terry holds a California Department of Real Estate Salesperson license and Texas Real Estate Salesperson license.
