Responsibilities:- Solely responsible for all aspects of production; both the standard and bespoke arms of the business.- Manage a team of 12-18 employees; which varies according to the seasonal nature of the products.- Manage, organize and continuously improve production performance, in order to reduce costs; delegating day-to-day tasks and responsibilities to three factory team leaders.- Responsible for Production / Labour Planning, up to 12 weeks in advance; working closely with the sales department to determine product lead times and to cater for specific customer requirements.- Countrywide Logistical Planning (Delivery and Installation of products) on a rolling monthly basis.- Ordering of materials required to manufacture a vast range of products, which varies from week-to-week.- Create and implement KPI’s, derived by determining manufacturing costs vs. required gross margin.- Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the factory, to ensure productivity targets are met.- Make sure that Health and Safety procedures are followed and are up-to-date.- Ensure SOP and ISO 9001:2015 procedures are adhered to; creating/modifying procedures when necessary.- Meet sales budgets and specific customer requirements efficiently and on time.- Work closely with the sales department to help deliver complete customer satisfaction and deal with customer complaints; ensuring that the brands prestigious reputations are maintained, if not excelled.- Actively contribute to the marketing department, by managing the manufacture of new design products for photoshoots and show events; organising the required logistics, in tandem with fulfilling customer orders.- Currently planning the further expansion of the factory and stores, which will encourage Lean / Kaizen practices in the standard factory, in order to further increase batch efficiencies and minimize waste.

Responsibilities:- Set up and implemented an ISO 9001:2008 certified Quality Management System (now 9001:2015).- Implemented a full training program for new starters.- Liaised with a consultant to introduce a Lean Manufacturing ethos within the Factory.- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Factory- Ensured the completion of all projects to demanding deadlines, without compromising quality.

- Whilst Reading at University, I returned to the company in the summer breaks and was predominantly involved in the manufacture and installation of the products, but also assisted the Production Manager in ensuring that factory deadlines were met and helped with the day-to-day planning during the peak season

Responsibilities:- The expansion of the Playhouse Company and the introduction of the Posh Shed Company and Educational Play led to the re-location of the factory; to bigger premises.- Production staff increased to 12 within a year.- Planned and delegated tasks within the team.- Responsible for training and supervising new employees.- Fully involved in installing the products; dealing with customers on a one-to-one basis; ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
