Director (Chief Officer)
CurrentAs Director of the Milton Keynes Citizens Advice Bureau, I lead and manage all operational activities that the organisation delivers. I hold responsibility for quality of advice, and have implemented and maintained common practices to ensure standards of service delivery. I work closely with staff, volunteers and trustees to develop the bureau as the leading provider of free and independant advice to the public within the Borough of Milton Keynes Together, with the board of trustees, and in accordance with the framework of the Bureau’s governing documents and agreed budgets, we work closely to ensure delivery of the business plan and identify development opportunities consistent with the aims of the organisation, and the operating environment.I am the main contact for primary funders, responsible for ensuring service delivery is in accordance with agreed contractsI also liaise with the governing body to identify development opportunities consistent with the aims of the organisation, its income generation strategy and the operating environment. I do this by monitoring potential funding opportunities, preparing and drafting funding applications and applying for funding. My goal is to develop the organisation's funding base into a more sustainable model, to secure present and future service delivery.
