• Entered into this Internship with a view to gaining a better understanding of both digital and physical music distribution.
• Responsibilities include conducting weekly checks on all music digitally distributed by Cargo and ensuring it is live to purchase on all sites (iTunes etc.) and also setting up pages for said releases on Official.fm. I.
• In addition to this I am tasked with searching and organising any new press for Cargo releases to ensure our database is an of the minute reflection of the artists and labels we distribute.
• Processing orders from the Record Shops Cargo distribute to, onto the Sage ordering system.
• Organise and distribute promo packs to the 12 most popular record shops in the UK with any promotional copies of records we are due to distribute.
