I am the founding director of Bridge Creative, a social enterprise based in Bishop Auckland, supporting young adults with learning disabilities in work experience and employment opportunities in the events, arts and creative industries. We also support events and festivals to improve their social responsibility.Prior to this I managed Northbridge Festival, the North East's first electronic music festival with camping, and led a marketing campaign resulting in the festival being voted a top 10 small festival in the UK at the UK Festival Awards 2016 after the festival's second year.Northbridge Festival was held annually at Humble Knowle Farm in Fishburn, County Durham. The idea behind the festival was to create a unique festival experience, giving local, emerging talent the opportunity to perform at a music festival alongside big name artists.I have also worked in a number of event roles including Assistant Safety Adviser, Event Manager and PR Manager at a range of charity, corporate and community events and festivals, ranging from charity awards ceremonies to large scale family fun day events, as well as working closely with a group of adults with learning disabilities to organise their own festival.Always keen to work with and support new events, festivals and social enterprises.Specialties: Organising and coordinating festival events, social responsibility, supporting adults with learning disabilities, marketing and event promotion, social media and digital promotion management, risk assessments, festival and event consultancy.
