Ben Tippett is a passionate Sports Industry professional with over 10 years experience ranging from grass roots through to International level.Beginning as a cricket coach, Ben started his career in the sports industry in the Game Development department of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) where he worked largely with Schools and Grade Cricket clubs to develop junior cricket in the Northern regions of South Australia. Working at the SACA gave Ben an opportunity to work with International Cricket teams as a liaison officer during all International matches in Adelaide. This position became a full time touring role in 2007 and Ben was the first person to work full time with a team as a liaison in Australia.Since this time, Ben has toured Australia with every International Cricket team and worked on a number of high profile series such as the South African tour in 2008/09 and the Ashes in 2010/11. This has also lead to similar roles overseas with Ben working on big tournaments such as the IPL in 2009 with Kolkata Knight Riders and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 with South Africa.Ben has worked in a Team Manager role for a number of professional cricket teams such as Australia A during the series against Sri Lanka in 2010 and for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League from its inception.Currently, Ben works as an Athlete Manager at Entourage. In this role, Ben works closely with a number of athletes to provide the skills, services and guidance required by to be a successful modern day sports professional.With an understanding of a number of different levels of sport as well as having worked with athletes, administrators, media and sponsors, Ben brings an extremely well rounded perspective to any role along with the passion to succeed.
