Hello, my name is Ben! I am a sophomore business management student at The University of Scranton. The past three summers I worked managing my two local businesses that I founded and generated well over $10,000 a month in revenue to date.Business has always been my passion. I love everything from creating an idea to solving a problem to executing that idea through running advertisements, to handling company finances. My three businesses are 1) boat detailing and 2) landscape management 3) online marketing and lead generation.As my company's managing partner and founder for both landscaping and boat detailing, I had to teach myself many integral skills along the way. For example, I taught myself Facebook Ad Studio and direct mail advertising. Through this, I learned the most effective ways to market my business. After I incorporated Facebook Ad Studio into my business, I was able to narrow down viewing criteria to a demographic that fit our client.We achieved the following results:- increased from five clients to over 60 clients, a ~1100% increase, in three years.- achieved a 95% retention rate in repeat customers year over year.- expanded out of my home state of New Jersey into New York state and Pennsylvania.- I also hired over 10 employees and managed my teams effectively.- Created a pricing matrix utilizing ExcelIn the summer of my freshman year, I landed a competitive internship at Aflac on Wall Street as a benefit consultant and sales intern. Upon securing my internship offer, I studied and passed the New York State Health, Accident, & Life Insurance Agent Exam. In my role, I worked to facilitate client relationships. I used multiple channels to generate leads such as accessing lead databases, cold calling/emailing leads, and meeting in person with prospective Aflac clients.I also started an online marketing firm, I believe I have learned more about business, negotiation, and overall skills that have given me a significant competitive edge in the corporate world.- I have successfully learned to do search engine optimization (SEO) and lead generation for my clients.- I have onboarded clients within 3 months of starting all paying for recurring monthly services.- I have managed social media pages for all my clients and helped build websites.I am looking for opportunities with strong leaders who value individuals who take initiative, look at problems from a new angle, and solve them.
