About Ben Tyler

Ben is a lifelong student of economics and a chartered accountant who enjoyed a career as FD in New Media and Mobile Comms after he hung up his auditing badge in 1978. He retrained under the CISI in 1999 and the STA in 2013. He is currently studying to qualify with the CFA. Retired at 50 his aim is to fix the UK's crying need for a reliable default institutional investment process that matches the MSCI All Country index but with 40% lower volatility. He currently runs a small family office using Technical Analysis where he has developed asset allocation and risk management metrics for the launch of an ESG global Multi Asset fund. Ben wrote an SSRN paper in 2012 (2143425) and researches and develops fresh rules for systematic investment on an ETF platform.
