As the Manager of Capital Delivery I successfully lead a team of approximately 60 full time project professionals (plus contractors and consultants) to successfully deliver, year on year, record Unitywater capital program consisting of upwards of $300m per annum ($1.8B investment over 5 years) of growth and renewal projects. The projects within the portfolio were across all water, sewerage and recycled water asset classes as well as key environmental sustainability projects. To service one of the fastest growing regions of Australia, the portfolio of projects varied in scale, diversity and complexity ranging from programs of low complexity projects to projects in excess of $270m (Aura & Harmony). Complex projects ranged from works being performed on brown field assets such as major upgrades to sewerage treatment plants, to the $120m Wamuran Irrigation Scheme, which is the first scheme in Queensland to use class A recycled water on minimally processed edible food crops requiring extensive consultation with the state regulators and local farmers. This experience demonstrates my ability to oversee significant infrastructure projects and lead multidisciplinary teams, focusing on delivering projects on time and within budget. My leadership ensured project objectives were consistently met, fostering a high-performance culture among team members through establishing a shared sense of purpose and mentoring, whilst maintaining strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

I was the project director responsible for the delivery of two high profile and politically sensitive projects for Queensland Rail. Toowoomba Range Clearance Upgrade Project (TRCU) ($77m). The project involved lowering 11 heritage listed tunnels in a constrained brownfield environment by up to 1.5m to increase clearances for modern 9’6” containers to be able to travel on the line to the port. and Toowoomba Range Slope Stabilisation (TRSS) ($33m).

I lead and provided strategic management and accountability for the successful delivery of a suite of Queensland Rail projects and contracts, in-line with industry standards and best practice to deliver greater efficiency, availability and reliability of Queensland Rail's assets.During this time I also performed the role of Program Manager SEQ.

I managed the delivery of many key projects and programs whilst in the project manager role including the Breakfast Creek Bridge Replacement Project, South Pine River (330m) and Tributary Creek (110m) Bridges Replacement Project and the Locomotive Readiness Project. I was the project manager for the accelerated replacement of 30 critical turnouts in South East Queensland. In my role I work with all aspects of rail including operations, signalling, track design, track alignment, formation improvement and overhead design and construction.During this time I also acting for significant periods in higher positions including Senior Project Manager and Program Delivery Manager – Track and Civil.

I was a co-author of the first TransLink Network Plan which setup a 4 year rolling program of infrastructure and service improvement for public transport. I was also key in setting up the policy and strategy for the development of Public Transport in South East Queensland. I lead the development and implementation of my initiatives including major bus network restructures, pre-paid initiatives and many other initiative. I was also heavily involved in the planning and evaluation of busways.
