• The Adaptive team is unique role as it covers Tier 1, 2 and 3 roles, as our customers pay for an elevated service and have direct contact 24/7. My role is part of a follow the sun model, with other desk in Singapore.
• I am part of a small UK based team of 6, delivering premium managed server support to our customers (EasyJet, Chick-Fil-A, Sallie Mae & National Australian Bank)

• Employed for HP on a BP contract; responsible for installing new cutting edge servers, storage & network equipment at the EMDC1 (European mega datacentre). All new equipment is integrated into the BP infrastructure.
• EMDC1 has 4 large data halls with a vast amount of hardware to be supported from HP, Netgear & Cisco Switches, HP virtual storage, HP servers, KVM’s, Hawk-I & Eagle-I, 3Par, Dell servers as well as media storage
• Installed hardware; HP Blade chassis, HP 360 G7, HP 380 G7, HP 580 G7, 3Par StorServ Storage, Cisco Nexus 7000, Netgear GS748T & Oracle's StorageTek SL8500
• Monitored incident ticket systems to resolution on network & storage issues
• Covered out of hours work i.e. Installs, Removal and Testing hardware and infrastructure
• Escorted and monitored external engineers to ensure work was completed within the BP site standards

Immediately employed by OAO/Pomeroy as we were the only team qualified to continue working on the BP Wall Street contract; my previous role applies

• Alert driven environment focusing on the BP Wall Street Finance system that processed all of BP Chemicals International payments
• Access to the latest software on servers including CTSI for web based payment systems of Swift Alliance and Citibank; and liaised with support groups and customers to help resolve any issues
