I was a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on process improvement on the 3600 Block Line in Lafayette Engine Center machine shop. Was responsible for making process updates and all supporting documentation. Introduced new machinery/equipment to the line, trained operators, and worked.

In this internship I was rotating through various departments, starting as a Sales Engineer, engaging directly with customers and their questions about part quotes, cost reductions, and machining potential within the facility. From there I spent two weeks within the quality department, learning control points, practices before shipping product to the next.
