As Sr Manager of the Emerging Technologies organization @ flex, I am responsible for managing 20+ employees globally who are responsible for information / media management (SharePoint CMS), web development, mobile development, Customer facing solutions, Brand & Identity. Key Responsibilities:• Ensuring projects are clearly scoped, correctly budgeted with clear ROI, delivered on time, and positioned for long-term success.• Run multiple technical projects simultaneously across a wide scope of technologies and target audiences. • Drive Productivity and efficiency through the deployment of O365 / SharePoint @ Flex. • Increase the value of SharePoint through the delivery of custom enterprise web applications, feature enhancements and system integrations.• Enable Flex to communicate and collaborate more effectively with selected business partners, suppliers and customers through the management of a SharePoint extranet. • Managing a development group that mobilize the workforce through the delivery of native, mobile web and hybrid apps.• Manage the IT organization that directly supports the corporate marketing office to enable the delivery of our public facing websites and external brand presence.

• Leading a global team of developers / designers (~10) across the US, Mexico, Malaysia and India that are responsible for the support of our global CMS (SharePoint 2007) based intranet as well as the development of web parts / custom solutions built on top of SharePoint.• Support a large scale migration / integration program for SharePoint to support the acquisition of Solectron. • Deployment of a customer facing extranet (SP 2007) & integration into existing SAP supplier systems.• Creating an executable strategy for leveraging SharePoint as an extensible framework that allows for the development of applications and features to meet growing demands across the enterprise. • Rolled out an enterprise search platform built around a google search appliance. Connecting search across the corporate intranet and various line of business applications. • Managed a number of large scale migrations into SharePoint from legacy file systems, Eroom, internally developed document management tools.• Development of an enterprise wide controlled document management system built on top of SharePoint with Titus document policy manager.• Setup / deployment of a highly customized SharePoint farm for the hosting of the Flextronics public website along with a number of subsidiary public facing websites.

• Focus on converting customer requirements into the architecture and design that ultimately drive the delivery of a solution / web application. • Deployment of a large scale SharePoint 2007 environment supporting various business groups at the corporate and site level across a (60k+ user base) • Application delivery in the global manufacturing, supply chain, sales / logistics space directly supporting customers as well as at the corporate level driving company policy and culture.• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders on project planning and investment options• Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration as well as application development and promote best practices in these areas• Define and implement proof-of-concepts for proving new technologies and/or architecture patterns both at business and enterprise levels• Work closely with clients and project managers and team to clearly define scope of work and provide accurate cost/schedule estimates• Support the technical teams during the software development life cycle from project initiation to production deployment• Integrate Solutions with features such as caching, acceleration, security firewalls, DNS traffic management, video delivery / CDN and more.

• Part of the web team responsible for the support & maintenance of the overall intranet deployment at Flextronics. • Focus on working to support, analyze, develop, test, and implement specific software application solutions for various internal teams. (C#, .net, Javascript, SQL)• Provide a variety of services that support part or all of the application development life cycle including project management, requirements development, business analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. • Responsible for translating design documentation and motion concepts into fully functional web applications.• Experience with the development and support of database driven applications using SQL, JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS. • Measure, assess, and improve quality and performance of applications

• Delivering end to end web (intranet) design & site publishing services to global business teams with a focus on helping organize data so employees can access information quickly and easily. • Collaborating with content contributors to ensure they meet communication goals across a large diverse internal audience. • Developing site navigation with a focus on web usability and user experience. • Develop site content and graphics (images, icons, banners, etc.) in coordination with corporate marketing to align with the overall corporate branding guidelines.
