The role brings together functions from our HR, Finance & Supply Chain areas along with Project Management and Asset Maintenance. As the lead I am responsible for an integrated end-to-end solution which simplifies, standardised and consolidates the way in which we operate today. Primarily focussed on SAP, the opportunity is to bring two sectors, two core sites, multiple functions and operating entities closer together to drive efficiency and performance, acting as a platform for the future.

    Part of the IT leadership team, I was responsible for the application support landscape comprising of business, ERP and engineering applications. Leading a team of ~40 functional analysts and application support analysts who were responsible for the analysis, design and configuration of IT solutions to meet business need whilst also maintaining and supporting the current solutions landscape. As part of the IT leadership team we were responsible for people, process and technology to underpin a high performing department. In the final six months I acted as the IT exec for the Type 31 programme, ensuring we had the right foundations and teams to deliver supporting IT infrastructure and business solutions to the programme.
