Along side my full-time role as ATA32 Simulation Platforms Leader I am developing to be the Systems expert in Simulation Platforms. In this role I become the focal point for developing the Airbus ATA32 State-of-the-Art for all Simulation Platforms, anticipating the business's future Simulation needs and aligning them with available and developing technologies. Responsible for the system wide verification and validation of Airbus' most technologically advanced Landing Gear research projects at the time - Electrically Actuated Braking (EABS), and Electric Extension & Retraction Responsibilities included:- Oversight of the test rig design and construction - ensuring safety and performance requirements are met.- Integration of supplier deliverables into the system test rig.- Overall verification and validation of the system compared to requirements.- Supplier liaison.

Seconded full time to Airbus, this role involved the modelling and simulation of aircraft avionic systems for Landing Gear using Matlab/Simulink. Responsibilities included: - System verification and validation (V&V) against requirements. This was based around the V model - Integration of new system control software from suppliers into the simulated aircraft environment.
