Ardmore Seavanguard - Oil & Chemical TankerThe final vessel of my cadetship, carrying clean petroleum products this tanker again helped to further my knowledge into the operation of this vessel type. During my time on board I took on greater responsibility as a valued member of the bridge team and prepared for my next assignment as an Officer. This vessel carried a variety of grades allowing me to gain additional knowledge into tank cleaning procedures and cargo care.

Ardmore Seavaliant, Oil & Chemical TankerCarrying Crude Palm Oil, Crude Coconut Oil, Crude Soy Bean Oil & Caustic Soda this vessel gave me an insight into Cargo Heating and carriage of hazardous cargoes. This was very different to my experiences on board previous vessels and increased my knowledge into the operations of a commercial tanker. This vessel was fitted with a FRAMO pumping system allowing me to gain experience on the system and its operating procedures.

Atlantic Pioneer, VLCCOperating between the Middle East and Asia and carrying varying grades of Crude Oil this vessel helped to build the foundations of my knowledge of this vessel type. Participating in a number of roles as part of the bridge team also allowed me to build on the knowledge learnt during my college studies.

Eclipse, Commercial YachtAs a commercial yacht with excellent facilities this was the perfect place to begin my training. Taking on roles including the inspections of Fire Fighting Appliances and Lifesaving Appliances enabling me to become familiar with the equipment and its operation and service requirements.
