Management of critical systems within six buildings, including three levels with Global Switch a Tier 3 Level 1 data centre. Utilise a global ticketing portal; locate issues, identify actions, respond to client requests, problem solve and resolution of issues. Instrumental in the change process with submission of change requests to the Change Board following through to completion.Monitor fault reports and liaise with customers via service desk and directly. Investigate faults with on-site and contracted maintenance teams. Record issues, audit works and keep track of a contracted in-house maintenance team. Support technical service engineers with issues; investigating and problem solving to find a solution.Responsible for maintenance of heating ventilation, IPDU (UPS faults, UPS switching), emergency lighting, building faults.Monitor email and analyse requirements of contractors, raise/issue permit/permissions to work review/populate risk assessments and method statments and have a good understanding of the health and safety requirement surrounding working within a wide range of environments. Analyse and record requirements of works utilising a new database which I assisted in the creation of, assign actions and power distribution requirements, capacity management and management of CAD drawings.Assign data centre space as requested by project team including client space, load spreader plates, power and data/fibre installationSwitching HV, submitting HV documentation (AP training completed, accredited 2011). Maintenance and assisting engineers with general servicing of generators, UPS and HVAC. Automated switching of building electrical and mechanical services.Infrastructure meeting, critical environment for the UK, progress projects relating to hard services.
