Final thesis research, evaluating the fish passes at the pumping stations Noordpolderzijl en Spijksterpompen in the management area of the water board Noorderzijlvest. Researched the presence of key species (the three-spined stickleback and elver), to provide answers regarding statistical relations between the occurring fish at the entrance of the fish passes and environmental variables. Also determined the functionality of the fish pass at the pumping station Spijksterpompen based on the catch of fish that passed the fishpass.
