Analytics ConsultantMammoth Growth Jan 2022 - PresentCorte Madera, Ca, UsSeeking broader impact, I joined Mammoth Growth as a consultant. Since then, I modernized analytics for diverse companies in CPG, Network TV, Finance, B2C, and Food Delivery sectors. BEAM Modeling – Business Event Analysis & Modeling is a process that I introduced to Mammoth and clients to translate the conceptual business model into the physical data model. The best result led to a 75% reduction in pipeline build time, deprecation of 200+ unnecessary intermediate models, and simplified star schemas for self-service.Executive Dashboard & Weekly Business Review – Working with the client team, a daily exec dashboard was built out. The metrics established there have become been part of a weekly business review that has steered company initiatives for the past year.Analytics Roadmaps – I was the lead architect on several initial engagements with clients. I led a comprehensive audit of their existing infrastructure across people, process, and tools. -
Data ScientistConnectwise Jan 2020 - Jun 2022Tampa, Fl, UsRejoining ConnectWise, I led the new Product Growth team post-acquisition. I spearheaded the Modern Data Stack transition, integrating data assets and defining key metrics. My established processes now guide 16 analysts across 7 teams in developing data products. This alignment on core metrics enabled me to shape growth models for our product lineup. dbt Power User – I introduced dbt to ConnectWise. It has become the central point for all analytics work, version control, and governance.Hex Item Categorization MDM – Hex was leveraged as part of a Master Data Management process. ConnectWise has over 7k items that must be labeled. Hex allowed us to distribute that work to individuals with the right context.Hex Usage Forecasting – My team created a weekly usage forecast per customer based on product usage data. The results were pushed back to Snowflake. When actuals missed the forecast, the partner success managers were alerted in Gainsight.Renewal and Price Increase Initiative – ConnectWise introduced a new sales motion for annual contracts with a set renewal date and price escalators. I instrumented the process to provide visibility and inform financial models to budget ARR uplift. -
Data ScientistKnowbe4 Sep 2019 - Jan 2020Clearwater, Fl, UsI joined KnowBe4’s Quantitative Analytics team, which was created to deploy a customer health model. In a quick three months, we went from siloed and raw source data to a cleaned centralized data store used for management reports and forecasting. Customer Health Model – By cleaning and aggregating our source data from SaaS and internal systems, I trained a churn classifier using XGBoost. Predictions were interpreted with LIME to score key features. The outputs were then shared with the Customer Success Managers to reach out to at risk customers. Conservatively, this model drove a 1% increase in retention - which was a significant lift in revenue for the business.Data End-To-End Workflow – My team built out a data workflow that handles data lineage, workflow automation, and model deployment. The workflow integrates Jupyter Lab, Apache Airflow, MLFlow, and a variety of data stores. -
Bi AnalystConnectwise Oct 2016 - Sep 2019Tampa, Fl, UsI joined ConnectWise at a great time to make an impact. They had been a successful SaaS startup and were in the process of maturing to their next stage. As a key member on the Business Intelligence team, I provided leadership with suggested actions based on data.SaaS Metrics – By cleaning and aggregating our historic billings data, I provided a data set that tracked key metrics, like Average Revenue Per Account and Net Dollar Retention Rate. This dataset was tracked at the item level, allowing for rollups by time, cohort, product, license type, geographic region and more. Bookings Dataset – To bridge financial planning between Sales, Ops, and Finance, I gathered sales opportunities, contracts, and item level data as leading indicators of the company’s financial performance. This dataset established key metrics like ACV/TCV, Operational Backlog, and Renewal Date. They are now reported to the board of directors, used for Sales commissions, and operationally by CSMs focused on renewals.BU Profile Analysis – Using K-Means, 11 distinct segments were identified. Further analysis established each segments’ needs. For monthly tracking the 11 centroids were seeded before reclassification. This provided insight into the “mobility” of our customers.RFM Analysis – RFM asks how recently, how frequently, and how much each customer has purchased from us. Using expansion and downgrade data we identified likely upsell candidates. This list was given to the Account Managers as “hot” leads.Predictive Customer Churn – The longer we retain a customer, the more profit. I trained a time-series model that provided a roster of customers for CSMs to reach out to. -
Associate Programmer AnalystUniversal Orlando Resort Jul 2014 - Oct 2016Orlando, Florida, UsOn the Consumer Insights Tech Team, my responsibility was to develop and maintain processes in support of adjacent teams. This included ETL pipelines and self-service reporting.Data Blending and Data Quality – With Alteryx, I created workflows that brought together information from turnstiles, tickets, finance, digital analytics, and our own survey results through sources like, SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, REST APIs, or web scraping.Automated ETL – With Alteryx workflows, I extracted responses from Qualtrics, cleaned them, and stored the results. This process ran nightly – saving 20 hours per week.Mystery Shopper App – I developed an app for shoppers to enter their review. The app then scores the review and creates the report. After a manager previews and approves the report a PDF is generated that is emailed to a distribution list. -

The vendor handled the hardware and firmware while I set the requirements and developed the backend API.Platform Integration – Through REST APIs, OAuth2, and PHP I was able to aggregate Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Shopify, PayPal, and Mailchimp, into one platform.E-Commerce Development – Developed a custom checkout process and cart to sell our products, then processed the payment through the PayPal API.IT Security – Configured our firewall through AWS VPC and added SSL by applying CSR to our servers to stay PCI compliant. -
