A charismatic marketing specialist with over 25 years experience in the automotive, outdoors and events industry. Having started his career on the late 90’s, Ben created and produced the SCP Auto Salon at the Montreal Olympic Stadium from 2000 to 2009 and was regarded as the largest aftermarket performance auto show in Canada at the time. From there he took the show on the road and created the Sport Compact Nights Tour that brought the automotive lifestyle concept to over 10 cities across Canada from 2002-2006. 2007 marked the birth of the Drift Mania Canadian Championship, Canada’s first ever professional drifting competition. This event series would introduce automotive fans to a new breed of racing that would ultimately change the motorsport landscape. From 2010 - 2013, Ben was responsible for strategic partnerships for the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival, signing and managing major sponsors such as LG Electronics, Virgin Mobile and Shell to mention a few. Top Gear Marketing Group was formed in 2011 with Ben as co-owner. TGMG specialized in turnkey activation solutions and provided such services for brands such as Toyota, Volkswagen and Pfizer. Since 2013, Woodoo Marketing was responsible for creating and producing the Performance Zone feature at the Montreal International Auto Show. Ben became the Sponsorship Director for the Formula Drift Canada series as well as producer of the B1 Canadian Championship of Fishing with events in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. From there he has produced the Leurre Juste television series. Recently moving to New Brunswick, Ben took on the role as Marketing Manager for Shift Auto Group and was responsible for brands such as Volvo and Mitsubishi. A strong communicator with exceptional management skills, tremendous on-the-field experience, in-depth understanding of event production and logistics and above all an “always a solution, never a problem” thinker.
