I started my professional career in 2012 with Commercial Property and Business Insurance Company, FM Global in London, United Kingdom in the capacity of Loss Adjuster. During my time with FM Global I have developed a strong understanding of the Risk Management and Insurance industry. This has been combined with invaluable experience of handling large and complex losses across a wide range of industries including Pharmaceutical, Energy, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Mining, Retail and Residential. During my career I have also had the opportunity to travel and manage claims all over the world including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. My role has and continues to provide me with great opportunities to work with talented and experienced industry professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise.As well as handling insurance claims, I work closely with FM Global's Client Service Teams to help clients understand the coverage afforded to them by their global insurance program and to test potential 'what if' scenarios.In 2018, I moved to Sydney, Australia to join FM Global's Australia Operation where I have developed my experience handling losses in high hazard industries including Energy, Chemical Manufacturing and Mining. Here, I have also had the opportunity to develop my coaching and mentoring skills as a more senior member of the team.During my time at FM Global I have been fortunate to be involved in an award winning Global Claims Team recognised internationally for delivering market leading claims services to customers. Prior to joining FM Global I obtained a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. Since then I have obtained a Certificate of Insurance and a Diploma of Insurance from the UK Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). I am continuing to study for the Advance Diploma in Insurance with the CII. In my personal time I enjoy live music, playing sport, hiking and trail running.
