The Muscle Recovery Team aims to create a small form factor wearable device capable of measuring muscle recovery over a period of time as well as provide insights on that data. My role on this team was to code the ESP32 firmware in C++ and develop the server and client side architecture of the device to ensure effective data transfer over BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), create a flash memory management system to store session data, and a website capable of displaying real time data and insights from past sessions using HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front-end and PHP, SQL for the backend.

Supply chain issues in the last few years exposed a major pain point of the American medical industry. SEBIK is a venture that seeks to be an emergency solution for shortages of common single use plastic goods. We designed an automated table top injection molder, a complex electromechanical system complete with high pressure pneumatic actuators to inject plastic through a nozzle, band heaters to melt plastic pellets, and a mold to shape the plastic.My role in SEBIK was to lead the bare metal firmware development of the injection molder as well as develop safety critical code, such as PID control loops for the band heater, watchdog timers to reset the microcontroller, and a high level state machine to handle our end to end processes.
