• Supported Sandia National Lab's Main 24x7 Mission Critical operations Data Center as a Project Manager by handling multiple projects simultaneously by priority and urgency. This includes working with engineering departments to define project requirements for new Data Center hardware deployments, working with the Data Center facility and networking teams to coordinate power and cooling and network connection requests, communicating with clients and management about project updates, timelines, and goals while maintaining expectations, and implementing best-practice standards for maintaining a data center environment which includes disaster recovery and system reliability.• Planned and implemented data center improvements through expanding Data center capacity (growth planning, rack, and server layout), and deploying a large inventory of server, network and infrastructure equipment in a production environment.• Worked within the Data center installing and removing equipment in computer racks, installing rack power and infrastructure hardware, overseeing available resources (such as power and cooling) for expansions for new and existing deployments, and managing connections and cabling within data center computer racks.• Helped lead Sandia's mission to consolidate numerous smaller data centers and migrate those resources into Sandia's Main Data Center to properly secure numerous research lab's data. • Worked with Sandia National Lab's Windows System Administration Team to create and maintain Sandia's physical and virtual systems, including server provisioning, upgrading, monitoring, maintaining, restore data and re-configure systems when required. Responsible for patching and updating Windows Servers through Shavlik according to Department of Energy's security standards. We also worked directly with customers in creating virtual servers with custom specifications for various applications.• Pioneered organization within this group by writing up support documentation for company processes such as job specific instructions, best practices, important processes, and new hire information.

• Maintained our Windows 2012 servers through regular updating to keep them compliant based on Department of Defense's requirements. Created and maintained backups of servers and user data using the software Acronis 11 and Beyond Compare 4 (including redundancy in case of failure). Data center management, encompassing cabling, replacing drives and controlling inventory as well as updating and maintaining hundreds of computers throughout the division by supporting hardware and software needs via WSUS. Administered user accounts for Group and Group Policies using Windows Active Directory.• Writing up support documentation for company processes such as Integrated Technical Systems, job specific instructions, best practices, and new hire information.• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on-site and over the phone.

• Responsible for teaching a 5th grade class through managing a large group of people in an organized and professional manner (despite stressful situations), planning a curriculum and implementing it into action, and writing lesson plans that fit into overarching curriculum to teach the class and aid other teachers.• Benefitted other teachers and the entire school through implementing new technology into their classrooms in a group setting and individually to help aid the education of the entire school. This included setting up appropriate technology for a school-wide file system for teachers and employees to access (and created documentation to aid and support in using this technology).
