A true testament to my commitment to excellence was evident in the mentorship and guidance I provided to junior claims professionals, actively contributing to enhancing claims handling processes and fostering teamwork in the workplace.A big milestone in my career was when I transitioned to the business realm as a network and audio specialist, crafting seamless connectivity solutions in various environments, including buildings, hotels, and casinos. This phase emphasized precision, problem-solving, and creating memorable experiences—whether through flawless data flow or vibrant music.Then Hurricane Irma slammed Puerto Rico. Witnessing the aftermath and recognizing the urgency, I felt compelled to do more. Becoming a claims investigator, I immersed myself in the narratives of loss, navigating the complexities of insurance. It was a baptism by fire, honing my empathy, negotiation skills, and ability to see through the fog of disaster.Several years, 100+ cases, and countless conversations later, I craved the tangible.
