Originally from Ireland, I have over 30 years’ experience in the Minerals Industry. I've worked for approximately half my time in applied R&D for the sector and the rest in a variety of company roles, most notably with Rio Tinto (in Australia and the United States) as well as in the South African Platinum Industry. Prior to joining the CRC in 2015, I worked at the University of Queensland both as Director of the JKMRC and then running an Industry funded Ore Sorting Centre. My primary interests are in step change technology to improve the Energy, Production and Water signatures of operating sites in the Minerals Sector.
