The Communications Advisor position within the media.comms branch, is responsible for the development and implementation of communications strategies and plans for the Australian Communications and Media Authority. Working collaboratively with a wide range of business units across the ACMA, the role was responsible for planning, developing and implementing all external communications across a broad spectrum of target audiences—both consumer and industry focus.This 12 month, maternity cover, role allowed me great insight into campaign communications at a Federal government level. Working on national communications strategies for major consumer awareness pieces, niche B2B campaigns, and crisis media management for the national media and communications regulator.
