I am a Mechanical Engineer working as an Senior Energy Consultant within Arup’s Energy + Digital Team. My role is predominately in delivering strategic and feasibility stage techno-economic modelling for energy systems and networks. I advise private and public sector clients on decarbonisation pathways, specialising in campus scale portfolios. I also provide technical assistance to operational sites, through modelling and data driven analysis of energy systems.Alongside this I work as a full-stack software developer, leading projects internal and external to Arup, creating new digital tools and processes to automate and innovate within the built environment. I use my experience of modelling, software and digital solutions to complement my technical engineering skills, bringing a digital perspective to energy projects, and advising on the rapidly-developing digitisation of the energy industry.
