My international focus in cross-border transactions is in mergers and acquisitions in various countries and in diverse industries; formation of joint ventures, incorporation of foreign subsidiaries; secured financing; set up of "near-shoring" manufacturing operations under special import-export programs and tax protocols/treaties; venture capital; financing, purchasing, entitlement, development and selling of resorts, commercial and residential real estate and mining projects; and in transactions and issues regulated by the USMCA (NAFTA) and other international treaties and protocols between the U.S. and Latin American countries.
