- Lead a team of 6 high-performing individuals who support, share and innovate community connections in the museum and history fields- Oversee the Ohio Historical Marker Program, responsible for more than 1,750 historical markers across Ohio and the Ohio History Service Corps, an AmeriCorps, program of 10 members that build capacity to preserve local history across Ohio- Incorporate underserved communities of Ohioans into the work of the Ohio History Connection. Focus on Linden and Weinland Park neighborhoods as well as Ohio LGBTQ, Appalachian and New American communities- Incorporated the principles of community engagement and Asset Based Community Development into the museum and history fields to increase intuition relevance and buy-in from communities- Coordinate speakers and topics for the Dialogues on Inclusivity series. A first person, narrative-based way to introduce new cultures, ideas and people to Ohio History Connection staff and staff of other Central Ohio museums and cultural organizations- Manage the Gay Ohio History Initiative (GOHI) in order to collect, preserve and share Ohio's LGBTQ past- Delivered presentations on inclusion, community engagement and organizing to museum and cultural institution peers to share best practices, drive innovation and inspire change- Write grants to support inclusivity and community impact. Successfully wrote, received and managed $500,000 in grants to create Emerging New American Community Team (ENACT) program. ENACT empowers and connects emerging Central Ohio New American leaders into the larger Central Ohio community

- Manage all day to day operations of a local Ace Hardware including hiring, sales, rental, service and inventory- Lead a team of 25 people to create a team completely focused on outstanding customer service

- Managed a caucus targeted $400,000 campaign for Ohio Statehouse District 7 in Cuyahoga County- Led campaign staff to implement goal-focused fundraising, communications, outreach and field programs- Created a localized grassroots campaign that managed hundreds volunteers and small dollar donors- Outperformed district Democratic Political Index by nearly 1.5% while being outspent by 2 to 1

- Organized in the capital region for Senator Sherrod Brown and Ohio Democrats- Coordinated grass roots organization efforts and ground level community outreach

- Led campaign effort to repeal Ohio SB 5 in Columbiana County- Co-led the Get Out the Vote (GOTV) effort in Jefferson, Harrison and Carroll Counties- Won Columbiana county with 61% of the vote and all four GOTV counties by an average of 65%

- Elected by student body to be responsible for the policy and advocacy of 50,000 students at The Ohio State University- Managed a $250,000 annual budget to enact meaningful improvement for undergraduate students-Guided a 150 person organization tasked with creating fair university policy ranging from academics to athletics

- Member of inaugural 10 intern cohort in the Office of University Development- Founded a giving program to teach the value of philanthropy to students and increase donations to the University- Coordinated event in TCF Bank Stadium for 50 donors in the Minneapolis metro area

- Managed onsite offices for youth leadership conferences at Georgetown, American and Johns Hopkins Universities- Responsible for the housing, transport, dining, security and emergency logistics for approximately 1,500 students
