Living in a small town left me with not much to do while growing up. Once I graduated, I was blessed with the opportunity to live on my college campus for my first 4 semesters. I am now a proud Ragin' Cajun Graduate and am researching a very interesting topic in optimal control theory.I've been fortunate enough to have fantastic mentors who have imparted their knowledge on me and enabled me to complete projects and accomplish my goals.I'm specializing in optimal control theory, specifically model predictive control, but some of my other favorite subjects include Heat Transfer, Machine Design, and Vibrations.I have some classroom experience with MATLAB and C++, but I am most fluent in Python. I am actively working on furthering my proficiency in C++.When I am not studying or working, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family, friends, and dog. I also like to watch movies and read, primarily Science-Fiction. I would also love to travel the United States and the world, but currently would like to stay in South Louisiana. My lifelong mission is to use everything I know in order help people in whatever capacity I can. I have been given so much, and I would love to one day work on projects that are both useful to others, yet are innovative and challenge me. Several years from now, I wish to pass down the knowledge and wisdom that I have acquired over the years to the next generation of engineers.
