Responsible for the planning, direction and implementation of a comprehensive development program that identified, cultivated and solicited individual and major gifts, corporate and foundation grants, planned giving and workplace giving. Responsible for all individual donor and corporate relations that included the identification, cultivation, management and stewardship of all donors and relationships. In addition to main responsibilities, managed all third-party fundraising events and activities, established membership in the Combined Federal Campaign and with the Community Health Charities and built partnerships that furthered the marketing and fundraising efforts of the organization. Worked with the staff and the board to ensure strong communications across all program areas to strengthen the organization’s visibility and overall effectiveness.

Managed numerous fundraising activities and four major special events. The four events included the Father of the Year Awards Dinner, America's Walk for Diabetes, the Annual Golf Outing and the Magruder's Charity Golf Classic.Responsibilities were heavily focused on the recruitment and cultivation of corporate sponsorships and individual giving while working with different committees and volunteers to make each event a success.For each event,responsible for sponsorships, managing the budgets, administering contracts, communication with all sponsors, participants, vendors, volunteers and media, creating and distributing marketing materials and event materials as well as all other logistical issues specific to each event. Also responsible for cultivating and managing the individual and corporate sponsors into annual and major gifts as well as recruiting volunteers to become committee and board members.
