Yes, that is my real title, and a fairly accurate one. I am the office administrator for the Google Boulder office and work with our local and remote teams to ensure the office is great place for all of our precious snowflakes. I also am the primary point of contact for our external partners.➢ Works with local schools on STEM outreach➢ Tells the engineers where to plant their butts➢ Plans events of staggering genius and complexity➢ Avoids bureaucracy like the skinny kid in Dodgeball➢ Works with local schools on K-12 outreach, including bringing in groups and arranging presentations from engineers on STEM. Greatly expanded reach of outreach program and set up best practices to ensure visits are productive and enjoyable for both the Googlers and students➢ Serves on office’s “Culture Club,” working with other employees planning office-wide events➢ Works with real estate and facilities teams and managers to plan space for Boulder office➢ Worked with City of Boulder to implement transportation plan necessary for approval for new campus construction➢ Heads up a team of "Space Cadets" from the office to consult and inform on new building construction➢ Mentors other employees throughout the globe➢ Devised and taught multiple trainings for hundreds of employees on productivity, best practices, and corporate tools➢ Worked with a team to create a performance evaluation guide for our job function➢ Works closely with public policy manager to lead community affairs committee, evaluating grant and sponsorship requests➢ Serves on Mosaic, the Boulder employee resource group, to facilitate diversity activities
