As the Director of Lev Detroit at Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit (JFS), I oversee and expand the outreach to local Orthodox communities, responding to their needs and improving their access to JFS services. I work closely with JFS directors and other staff to integrate Lev Detroit within current program services, facilitating collaboration and coordination across different departments and functions.I have a strong academic background and work experience in customer service, staff leadership, finance, human resources, and psychology. I hold a Master of Science in Psychology, Specialization in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Talmudic Law from Yeshiva of Greater Detroit. I am also an adjunct professor at Saint Peter's University, teaching Management & Human Behavior to graduate students. I have multiple certifications, including Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Specialist. I am proficient in English, American Sign Language, and Hebrew. My core competencies include process improvement, presentations, interpersonal communication, and relationship building. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge to support and empower the Orthodox communities, and to promote growth and development within JFS and beyond.
