About Benas Bitvinskas
I’m a multidisciplinary product designer and founder. After an incredible journey at 1stDibs, the world’s leading luxury marketplace, where I led the design strategy for their Design Manager platform (which was sold for a net gain of $9.7 million), I decided to pursue my passion and build something of my own. With over 10 years of design experience, I began my career as a freelance designer, bootstrapping creative solutions for hundreds of clients. I later applied my skills in an agency, working on large-scale projects—from landing pages to full user interfaces—for companies like Motieka & Audzevicius, BigBox, Skycop, Credia, PA, SIL, and B2B Group LT.6 years ago, I shifted my focus to product development, joining Hostinger, a world-class hosting company. There, I worked on their product, led the design strategy, and managed the design team. During my time, Hostinger grew from 30 to 1,000 employees. I collaborated closely with engineers, project managers, and C-level executives, mentored designers, and led cross-functional teams.I later moved to 1stDibs in New York, where I led the design vision and strategy for the Design Manager platform, which was successfully sold after two years. Following that, I took charge of the design system project, conducted user research, and shaped the future design vision for the platform while enhancing both B2C and B2B experiences. Now, I’m channeling all of this experience into building my own business, blending my passion for design, product strategy, and entrepreneurship. And yes, if you're curious—I also code frontend.
Listed skills include User Experience, Logo Design, Graphic Design, User Interface Design, and 24 others.
